Simon Mejia, founder of the world-renowned band Bomba Estéreo, embarks on a new chapter in his career as a visual artist and music producer. Alongside this endeavor, he launches his visual company, Monte Jungla, dedicated to producing environmental and social impact documentaries. Collaborating with stars like Joaquin Phoenix, Monte Jungla aims to amplify crucial narratives through the powerful medium of film.

As a web designer for Simon Mejia’s new ventures as a visual artist, music producer, and founder of Monte Jungla, my approach is to create a visually stunning and user-friendly website that reflects his creative identity and commitment to environmental and social impact. Through extensive research and collaboration with Mejia, I develop a design concept that seamlessly integrates high-quality visuals and photographs, intuitive navigation, and interactive elements to showcase Mejia’s portfolio, Monte Jungla’s mission, and collaborative projects with stars like Joaquin Phoenix. By prioritizing responsiveness, accessibility, and performance, I ensure that the website engages and inspires visitors while effectively promoting Mejia’s work and initiatives to a global audience.

In this project, I took on multifaceted responsibilities encompassing programming, web design, and photo retouching. As a programmer, I was tasked with developing the functional aspects of the website, ensuring seamless navigation and performance. Simultaneously, my role in web design involved crafting the visual elements, layout, and overall aesthetics of the site to create an engaging user experience. Additionally, I applied my skills in photo retouching to enhance the quality and appeal of images featured on the platform, ensuring they align with the project’s aesthetic vision. Through these combined efforts, I contributed to the project’s success by delivering a polished and cohesive online presence across both sites and projects.
